Inflammation Fighting Food:Fish

As the word "arthritis" shows, arthritic diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS),gout, Osteoarthritis etc all related to inflammation. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), arthritis is a kind of Bi Syndrome which means attack of evil energies such as wind, cold, dampness and even hot. These evil energies attack immune system and cause immune inflammatory reaction. The result is painful, red and swelling joints. Without effective treatment, painful joints can develop into deformed or disabled joints. Therefore, effective treatment and timely treatment are important.

Inflammation Fighting Food:Fish
Fish is a kind of inflammation-fighting foods for rheumatoid arthritis. Patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) have higher levels of substances called cytokines that ramp up inflammation in the body. Polyunsaturated fats – especially omega-3 fatty acids – help suppress cytokines and other inflammatory chemicals.
All fish have some omega-3s. But salmon, herring, sardines, and anchovies are chock full of them. Salmon provides the most, with up to 2 grams of omega-3 fatty acids per 3-ounce serving. Go lightly with the heat; overcooking can destroy more than half of the omega-3s. Bake or grill fish instead of frying it to preserve healthful fat. Patients with RA had better take twice fish a week.
If you don’t like fish, you can choose other foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids include walnuts, canola oil, and soybeans. If you think necessary, you can ask your doctors foods containing omega-3 fatty acids that you can take.
